Well all, transpires the rear diff had completely locked (?!) and even when removed the technician couldn’t move it tools. So, fortunately whilst under 6 month warranty, a new Diff, service of Haldex pump, filter and oil change. Took two weeks for the work to be completed though...... thanks...

Possibly, I’m not excluding anything now! So my list is Rear Diff and potential oil change in h.pump. Would help if they returned my calls! I had a 2008 one, never had a single problem with it in the time I owned it, best cars ever x

It has 61000miles on it. Frustratingly not a sound on test drive. 20 miles after getting home and humming starts. I will continue to annoy the dealership until it’s rectified. Thank you!
