Freelander 2 (LR2) Blower fan on with ignition off

I tried connecting the battery and putting the front, rear and glovebox lights on and they all stay on when locked. I couldn't see map reading lights as my front and rear one are just one light.

Freelander 2 (LR2) Blower fan on with ignition off

Hi all, I have a 2009 FL2 and yesterday the blower would not switch off it seemed to be running flat out with the ignition off and the key out. I had to disconnect the battery to stop the blower. Has anyone encountered this problem before. Any help greatly appreciated.

    Hello everyone

Hi Brian, Thanks for the welcome. I just realised that this was posted in the introduce myself forum. (Too many beers before registering last night). The wife has a 2009 Freelander 2 which we have had for approx 3 years. This is the first time with a Land Rover.

    Hello everyone

Hello all, I have a freelander 2 GS TD4 2009. Today my blower seems to be on full blast when the heating system is switched off. It is still on when I switch off the ignition and remove the key. Has anyone had this problem before? Any help greatly appreciated.
