    servo into 1975 series 3

Hey 👋 I wonder if you good folks could help me please. I got a servo brake box off a later defender (i'm told) It looks like I have to cut away the top part of the bulkhead to allow it to fit is this the norm, or do I have a servo which will not fit/work? Many thanks

Parabolic leaf springs - shocks not fitting

I spoke to Sandersons and they said they should be okay with standard dampers. However I acknowledge the good points made above. Therefore could you recommend some good upgraded dampers. I will not be doing very much off roading. Thanks.

Parabolic leaf springs - shocks not fitting

Hi I purchased a set of these for my S3 and can't seem to compress the rear axle to fit the standard shocks. Do I need longer ones for these? If I do I'm a little ****ed off because a bought new standard shocks all around. Thanks...

    Historic tax

Just got my V5 back. Car now historic tax so free. Bizarrely the car also has 12 month tax on it even though it is currently not insured. So much for them checking properly. I didn’t apply for tax just to change the class. Cars all in bit anyway being restored so no issue anyway mister plod!

    engine damage is it terminal?

Thx @Ratae. I'll investigate further. On a slightly different note. is the thread on the front pulley normal right hand thread, so lefty lucy?. As trying to undo it and it's not budging or perhaps it maybe be a reverse thread and I'm tightening it LOL!

    engine damage is it terminal?

on a slight different but related note. It didn't come with a distributor. Does anyone know which dizzy I need and does it matter if I get a later one with the electrics built into the side or do I need an earlier one. i.e will this fit? Rover V8 Lucas DLM8 Distributor For 4x4 Engine 1990
