Can anyone help me with an intermittent fault on my freelancer 2, My battery light comes on from time to time but the alternator is still putting out 14.2 volts when this happens does anyone know of any faults like this one, Thanks in advance.

Hi Obrienk7, No unfortunately I never got anywhere with it, I got desperate and took it to my local land rover dealer and they said the only way to get the rear windows to go up and down I would need a replacement ECU and coded as required, It apparently cannot be re-Coded as it has been done at...

Does that mean I'll need to get a computer on it nodge? Will it have registered a fault code in the system?

Thanks for your reply Nodge, Wouldn't removing the multiplug from the door module and the latch mech not rectify that? Or would the dash still show the fault?

Hi guys how easy is it to remove a rear hub on the Freelander 2 I need to replace both back plates, I've removed the drum/disc shoes, I was going to remove hub nut but not sure what direction it goes and if I need some sort of equipment to remove the hub, could anyone help me with this, many thanks.

The nsr central locking motor isn't locking or unlocking, But apparently you need the window down to remove the regulator and motor so you can access the central door locking motor/latch

Ok, So the wiring is there, the fuses are there, motors are there so is it possible these have been decommissioned through the ECU? I've now got a bigger problem as the nsr door motor has failed and I can't get the window to go down to remove the regulator, Any help on this would be appreciated...

The switches are all there and so are the fuses I haven't taken off the door card yet that's my next job
