I have a 2A Snatch 110 & bought a Hi Lift Farm Jack 48" Heavy Duty on Ebay will lift no trouble. Lifts 3 ton plus - £60.00

A word of warning ask the garage to give you an update especially to costs and is it just a timing belt as you don't need to strip an engine down that far for a timing belt.

A good locksmith will open your lock in less than 5 minuets by picking the lock without even damaging it if he is a good locksmith where as a bad or dodgy locksmith will drill it open & charge you for a whole new lock. Not sure if he can cut a new key but he might be able to fit a new barrel so...

Sounds like the brake master cylinder. Do not advise driving with this problem even if you think you know how to handle it. It will only get worse & hit the brakes in an emergency and you have lost the brakes efficiency. Don't know how you have passed an MOT like this.

Yes you are correct they are bolted on. Got to remove one soon to get glass changed as it looks like it took a blast, all fogged. But it will be thinner glass. No bombs where we live, I hope.

Not good at any take away the bloody windows don't open. All are 1" thick and fixed. Never new this until I got it home.

Was the 300TDi a Defender 110. If yes do you know what the heater control wire does when you turn the heater knob down and it twists something on top of the heater box only I am not getting any heat in the cab area. The blower is working OK. I know it has a matrix inside the box which the 2...

Looks good from the pic of the engine. Was the V8 a new engine or one you picked up & re built. I have an ex MOD 2006 A2 Snatch Armoured 110 with the 300TDi engine which is very noisy & lacks power. Am thinking of the fitting the V8. Did you have to change the clutch & gearbox as well.

I hope not getting a bit cold and frosty now! I take it you mean water in the radiator which there is as otherwise it would overheat and the gauge would show.

Any ideas why my 110 - 2A snatch ex MOD heater wont throw out any heat. Pulled heater knob right down. Blower is good but no heat.

Have you looked under the body to see if anything is broken & is hanging down & rubbing on the body or road.
