Hi members
I’m new to group here.
I’m wanting to put my freelander up for sale but I need to look at a problem first with the breaks. I have dealt with it for the past few years but I don’t want to sell it like this.
So my breaks work fine when hitting them for the first and second time but if I have to hit them a 3rd time all in a row they go in limp mode and I press break and hardly nothing there. I’ve got used to it but there is obviously something that needs looking at.
Always passed an MOT like this as break pads are good but it’s just that problem and I cannot sell it like that. Does anyone know what it could b please?

Sounds like the brake master cylinder. Do not advise driving with this problem even if you think you know
how to handle it. It will only get worse & hit the brakes in an emergency and you have lost the brakes efficiency.
Don't know how you have passed an MOT like this.
