Well its says solenoid. Manufacturer doesnt give this code.

hello i own a 2004 freelander 2.0L diesel. the problem is that it keeps going into safe mode as soon as i accelerate or as soon as i go up a hill. all solenoids and tubes are new as new turbo. if i switch car off and on again its runs ok for a bit and all over again. it brings up P1740 code...

Its not illigal to remove it here(in Cyprus) as its what i did. Just car has some problems lately and they say it has to do with cat sensor. Am not to sure this model has anything like that so thats why am asking
