Humm seized throttle stops will be my issue now. To reduce tick over i need to move it a couple of turns. The other adjustment is at the min now. I was thinking of fitting a rev counter and a boost gauge... but not sure i want such mos cons spoiling the dash. I will say it goes like a rocket...

Basically the throttle was not opening fully from what i can tell. Looking at the photo from Steve and the fact that the "fule pin" did not pop out untill the slot on the centeral screw was at 180. I loosen the armature on the throttle linkage and moved it so now fully open the slot is at 180...

Eureka... i found it. ! 70mph and i lost my bottle and slowed down.. it is 62yrs old after all.

Last try... hopefully it will be worth it....

Well i had a quick peek at the turbo from the air intake side. And it spins freely . No oil or dirt presennt and the bearing feel ok. Little if any play. When we assembled the engine first the turbo blew off the hose so it was working then .. I feel i need to get a gauge and check we are...

Now... as for this engine issue. I have ordered a manual impact driver ( arrives Friday) to shift the 4 slotted screws to get the boost diagram chamber. I can safely say the guys that refurbished the injector pump did not open it ! not sure if they would have considered part of the injector...
