    Thanks for the replies, including johnlad. I have now changed the air filter which was filthy,dry,but looked as though it had some water stains. Still seems a bit flat below 2000 rpm so next check is the MAF as suggested by jedi. Then maybe a loss of vacuum to the turbo. If i can work out which...
