Not sure about hard wiring but if you're getting to that point it may be worth taking the console out and checking all the connections in the back of the HEVAC unit. I think one of the connectors provides power for all items. I had the same issue when I put my car back together just turned out...

Wouldn't it be easier to ask him to check the RR battery to see if thats dead seeing as everyone who's had the RF issue reports flat vehicle battery! I don't see how the RF problem will prevent another receiver like the AA's tool to test the fob either! And finally - now he's not using...

I totally agree Karel, to be honest if you look closely at the photo, it was very much my own fault. Check the door seals on the driver door, I'm used to off roading an old Series that I really didnt mind a bit of footwell water and didnt think to check the obvious on the Rangie. That said...

Well had a look around and canny find anything. I seem to remember reading it in a short list of times that air suspension should be or may need recalibration. I was also looking in to 3rd party diags tools at the time so maybe rogue info off one of their websites. Or I was just dreaming.....

If its only started happening while you're in a new location then have a search through the last few pages of posts for similar issues. Could be you're parked near something giving you RF interference like wireless network. As I say theres a bunch of threads on here to provide work arounds...

Oh and I said in the other CD post - if the RRs are new to you, make sure you have them in the right way round as the P38 multichanger is upside down to conventional cd players! If you have the cds the wrong way it will display no cd - yup I've done it :)

Try the obvious, stick a head cleaner cd through the player see if that works. If not i'd pull the cd player out open the case and get a can of air duster from somewhere like office world and spray that around. Failing that you could try to get at the lense to clean it with a cd cloth but its...

Transfer Neutral message sorted....there was obviously a spare fuse lying around for number 11, I obviously plugged it in when drying out all the other fuses. :o :rolleyes:

Sorry wasn't very clear! Picture side of the cd should be facing down. As in the opposite to a conventional cd player. There is a mark on the trays telling you which way aswell. This is true for the 4.6 HSE with Harmon Kardon system - not sure what make the multichanger is. :)
