When driving and letting off the throttle there is a grinding noise, what is common for causing a grinding noise when letting off the throttle 300tdi

It seemed to be confusing the central locking and stopping it working. As soon as i unplugged the door it started working again. Maybe it reset the module or something. Ill have another look in the morning

No crank or anything. I think ive found my issue of a faulty door latch on the rear shutting out the central locking of the car. Ill see tomorrow

Yes im sure i swapped everything. Noticed central locking locking and unlocking itself and then wont start afterwards like its shutting it self down.

Hi. Just swapped all wiring looms and dash into another body and chassis. Started up first time but now immobiliser wont come off and key fob wont work? Then central locking lock and unlocks itself constantly any idea what could be wrong

Ill send a picture soon to show what i mean. Crank pulley has been off so wandering if there is a spacer behind it whats fallen off or something

Hi. Just put my engine back in my discovery and noticed the aux belt is sitting on the rear lip of the power steering pump and its cutting into it. It seems to sit right on all other pulleys. Any ideas?

300tdi. Wheels are coming off to lower it before removing engine anyway

Would i be able to pull it out as one if i cut the entire front end off the disco or is it still worth splitting. Also whats best way for top 3 bolts?

Right starting tomorrow ill be swapping all my running gear and other stuff into a bare body on a chassis! whats the best advice for lifting the engine out? Bring it out with gearbox and transfer box intact or not? And how has everyone lifted the engine high enough to miss the front panel on...

Hi. What resistors do i need to fit when putting led indicators on the rear to make them flash properly?

Its got clear fuel pipe on atm, all they have done though on tank side is cut the normal black pipe and shove it over the top and jubilee it

I think the easiest way would be to keep them underneath and just renew the lines. Main thing to sort is another wiring loom for the dash as this one had been messed about with
