I told him that if I take the circuit board out the key fob it works so the car electrics must be ok, he told me my old key works so it must be the car!!! :rolleyes: How hard can this be.

yes I have checked the battery and the inside of the key fob and it all looks clean and no visible rust. The box in the roof looks perfect as well even on closer inspection- I cannot see any micro cracks. When I press the button on the key the LED lights up. I can get into the car the key works...

Hello I have a 2001 disco and the key fob only works once in about 50 times! I have changed the battery and also taken out and cleaned the transponder in between the sunroofs and it is still the same. I can buy a second hand one but how do I programme it to the key? Any help would be appreciated...
