I'd just patiently wait for one to pop up on eBay - I got one for £30 that was in excellent condition and in the same colour.

Pretty sure these are the part numbers you'll need, think Paddocks do a galvanised version too. I think the general recommendation is to fit them with a small gap using thick washers where it attaches the bulkhead to let water/crud drain and not build up. RH - MRC6081 LH - MRC6082 Steering box...

Hello, I've recently fitted a new clutch master cylinder (TRW) and noticed a few small droplets of fluid under the pedal after the first drive - have I got a duff one? Cheers

Another thing worth checking is any major pitting on the chrome swivels on the front, a relatively easy job to replace but could indicate further wear inside

Is it leaking whilst parked up? If it is the mud shields shouldn't be the problem, although worth putting washers between the bulkhead and the mud shield at some point.

Had a another look this evening - turns out it's just a dodgy toggle/switch. Still not sure what the random RW is for. Have attached wiring diagram if anybody needs for future reference.

If it's the galvanised one I found it best to put it on the roof all bolted up, then unbolt everything so it's all loose - fit it in the gutters, fix it in place and then tighten everything up again. Still have trouble with the front fixtures though as they catch the door tops, haven't figured...

Bulkhead to wheel centre is 10mm or so different - bulkhead to front bumper is same distance both sides. Will have a look at the leaf springs and do some more measuring in the morning

My front RH wheel is about 10mm further forward than LH. Thinking back I remember the recovery bloke towing it from around RH leaf spring - which I thought was quite odd at the time, so I'm guessing it's leaf spring related. I think I have photos of his weird setup - will have a look later...

Thanks for the advice - going to see how much it is to drill out and retap. Have bought replacement gasket, studs, nuts etc. for both inlet and exhaust manifold - the old ones aren't in the best of shape.

Ended up with sheared down pipe studs during exhaust removal. I've removed the manifold - is it worth replacing with a new replacement or just taking them to a machine shop for drilling out and reusing the existing one? Also, are there any other maintenance jobs worth doing with the exhaust...
