brilliant, i did wonder if it bolted on, i have tried most motor factors and all they have told me is that they only had one without the air con pulley. i shall get one after work tomorrow.

that part number is for the pulley with out air con, dose your p38 not have air con then?

i shall ring them tomorrow, the cheapest i have found so far is 250 from paddocks. lookers landrover in colchester wanted nearly 600!

hi, i have tried pipe dressing, and the crankshaft pulley isn't rubbing against anything. the pulley just has a side to side wobble if you know what i mean? i think I'm looking at around 300 pounds for it, but i have only tried island 4x4 so far so may get it cheaper elsewhere.

i think in 99 they changed the fuel pump / system on the range rover p38, also 98 onwards they have an egr valve.

hi all, on my p38 dt i have had an annoying constant squeek when it is idling. so far i have replaced both tension er pulleys, air con pump and pulley, both belts, and today the water pump. I'm at my Witt's end with it. the noise is so hard to PIN point. so now I'm thinking crankshaft pulley...

hi all, duz anyone know what i need parts wise to have the trip computor instaled on my p38. it is the dt but with the hi line becm. i have everything els apart from the cruese control and trip computor. i allready have indicator stalk and stearing wheel compleat with buttons.thanks,tom.

sat nav system now all fitted,pig of a job but was well worth it.

i have the whole loom,and i mean the whole loom. just got to try and figure out which wires i need, at the last count i think i had 47 connecting sockets! i might just try land rover or bmw to see if they can just supply me with the loom i need.

mine is similar, if i watch the engine it will shake from side to side for 10 second in every minute. i reckon my pump mite be on its way out. is yours chipped?

my mate put some in his 4.6 about 18 months ago, and its still going strong. they recon that stuff is good for 20000, i personally would try and source another engine/block just for piece of mind.

it sounds like the seat loom, have you got memory seats?
