As far as I’m aware, they are only available in low range, not at 50mph down a dual carriageway.

Can’t drive a manual, my left knee is fookt. As far as I know Compushift doesn’t allow you to change gears manually just set when gears change themselves. One good thing about the Freelander 1 is the manual shift option on the auto box.

No offence, but that’s not what I asked. I wanted a manual gear changer, like a triptonic shift, to change gear when I want to change them.

Does anyone know of a way to add a manual shift to the D2 Auto. I’ve had it on my FL1 and BMW X3, very handy thing, is it possible with the D2s auto box? Paul

The 235 60 18s are ace. Guess I’ll stick with the 40mm lift. But I might go to 50mm on the rear.
