Clutch was changed, then smoking started, then turbo was changed - still smoking. I am checking the existence of fbh next week and will update then. Thanks

But why would it smoke when you’ve traveled 100 miles on the motorway? Or after a 10 mile trip in the snow? The car is pretty warm by then so it’s not when I’m starting up.

Yes, they diagnosed the Turbo which was replaced (not by them though) and still had same problem... spent £4K on this car in the last few months and I I’m still getting problems... sigh The fbh looks expensive to replace if it’s that, just don’t know when to stop and call it a day.

Hopefully the garage mechanic would have spotted something like that when he had it for a few weeks over Christmas, he did take it on a long drive. I’ve not noticed it myself but that doesn’t mean anything much

Thanks, no leaks have been found and no spots on the drive. It’s been put through diagnostics umpteen times and no faults which is why I’m suspecting something non-mechanical like the plastic lining. Just need to find someone local willing to take a look at it other than main dealer.

Thanks for the suggestion. The garage mechanic had it for two weeks over Christmas and it didn’t happen once If it happened every time I drove then that would be a good solution. Seems to be a bit of an impossible problem unless I have a mechanic with me 24/7 for the next month or two
