    p38

Pipe coming from the MAP sensor has popped off from under your exhaust manifold. Common problem. Just pop it back on and put a jubilee clip on to secure it. Should solve your sluggish problem.

    Fuel Pump Buzzing

Hi Guys & Girls Just had my head under the rear of my TD5 and could hear a wining/buzzing sound coming from the fuel Tank. Are the fuel pumps suppose to make that noise? Or are they silent? The engine wasn't running at the time but it does struggle to start in a morning and or stood for 12hrs...

Not that I can see. But I'm assuming there will be a leak somewhere hence why they bypassed it. Thanks bud. I'll try reconnect the hose and fill it up then see if there is a leak anywhere.

    Hard Start

Hi Guys. I'm having trouble starting my disco TD5 in a morning and when it's been sat at work all day. Once it does start it runs mint. There is a puff of white smoke once it fires up but then no smoke at all when running. Would you say my 1st job would be heater plugs? Thanks in advance.

    Scrap or Keep ?

I paid £1200 for it and the plan was to restore it back to its glory and keep it until I die lol. Your photo is the exact same as mine. Now with the chassis I'm in two minds whether to get shut and get a better one of stick with this old bird and bring her back to life.

    Scrap or Keep ?

Il have a drive in it tomorrow when I collect it from the garage and have a good think. I really do want a D2 but I kinda want one that I can repair myself at the weekend. A new chassis whether galvanised or not is a pretty big job and would mean it would cost just as must in labour as it would...
