On the wife's 110 SW (flat roof) we just have a pair of roof bars, they fit very close to the roof, so have never had an issue with car parks. They're not as useful as a full rack, but can stay fitted all the time without getting in the way, and provide support and tie down points.

The TB rear seal can be be done without removing much, just the prop and the flange it bolts to. I didn't even jack the 110 up to do it. But, check the condition of the nylock nut, mine looked ok, but the nylon wasn't gripping, so the seal kept re-leaking, couldn't figure out why the nut was...

I'm using a phone so the photos don't come out very large, but could it be the transfer box rear seal? I had the seal go on one and oil pattern looks very similar.

Lol, good call, I missed that one. As for my brakes, they did break, but once I saw they were broke(n) I just fixed them. The parts were expensive, so now I'm broke... How did we get onto stopping devices anyway?

I've got a set of 265r17 tyres, but as all my wheels are 16", I've got to find something else to fit them on! I don't really want to buy new rims, and ideally I'm after steelies. Did LR ever do a 17" rim? Are there any rims off other make vehicles what will fit? It's to go on a One-Ten HCPU...

Easy win for the tyre shop here isn't it! The customer requesting a used tyre with 4mm tread to be fitted along with new tyres of 8mm. No record of VCU or IDR being checked or replaced. Being driven for 400 miles with a clearly audible problem. Then customer plays around with wheels...

I'm only familiar with pre-td5 ones. They bolt on to the bottom of the towbar plate, and the other end bolts through the chassis. I should think the only difference is length.
