Thanks I put a meter on battery and showing 12.26 volts. I can't understand why no dash lights as they can't draw much current whereas elec Windows etc are fine. But I will try a Jump start tomorrow

Hmm, the thanks ill go back to Tesco where I left it and try a jump start tomorrow.

Not even trying to turn over, no clicking etc. Like a dead battery except it isn't as there is plenty of power to headlights etc. Also has shown no sign of problems before, always started well. We were just saying last night we are glad we bought it, seems we tempted fate !

Thanks for letting me join. Just bought my first Landy. An 07 Freelander 2. The basic model. In Orange! Seller joked that it's a theft prevention colour ! I like it and haven't seen another Orange one yet. Opinions? Also is there anyway of finding out how many Orange ones were built?
