    Freelander 1 Tailgate window headache!

E bay regulator kits are really inexpensive and work just fine, I have replaced mine for around £20 complete with cables and motor and to be fair it's not a difficult job. I think it was just timing that it played up when battery was replaced and unconnected. I go forward with the view it's when...

Just a quick post to say thank you for the tip, I drilled out the sensors today and as You advised it worked a treat. To anyone doing this I would add my sensors when drilling started with a aluminium disc just below the outer shiny bit that started spinning as the drill bit-bit, persevere...

    Freelander 1 TD4 thermostat replacement ?

Brilliant thanks for the replies, seen as though the consensus is it's an awkward job taking hours I think I will wait until summer to tackle the job I will go the longer way and fit a genuine LR thermostat and new o ring I think as the thought of two thermostats sounds a bit dodgy if the...

    Freelander 1 TD4 thermostat replacement ?

Hi all, can anyone advise me please ? How difficult is it to replace the thermostat on a facelift 2006 FL 1 TD4. Running out of ideas

I would say 99.9% immobiliser issue the fact you can start it after a lock unlock is a fairly good give away and that should have been the immediate diagnosis from the investigating garage, join the RAC and get them to diagnose it on a call out I think You can join and get them to a break down...
