Well, having crappy plastic bumpers with cracks in them finally got to be too much to me so...... Replacement rear lights are on the way.......

Hi all, I've got a set of facelift rear lights en route as most of mine are cracked so it's the ideal time to swap them. Does anyone have a wiring diagram / guide to the easiest way to swap over or do I need to get the circuit diagrams out.TIA :)

Not sure when they went over to the dot punched VIN no's, think it was during the 90's - I think that most of the original ones I've seen have been in a straight line though, even back to my 1971 lightweight! If it's been re-chassis'd or had a new dumb iron welded on though that could explain...

Just use the pinout list on the attachment on the post a couple of comments above by me. It shows the connections between the green cable and the Nanocom connector. For the Nanocom end you need a DA15 2 row socket (female), for the OBD end an OSB plug (male) and obviously a length of multicore...

Yep, mine 260k km recent new filter and oil change does the same, if left for 3 or 4 days, first set off is delayed for a few seconds before drive is taken up then every start up afterwards it's fine. I've put it down to old age, a bit slow to start in the morning but then fine for the rest of...

New exhaust manifold ( 3 broken studs :(:( ) and egr bypass fitted - it now goes much better off the mark and doesn't scream when you accelerate! :D:D:D

Did an autobox oil and filter change, it now takes up drive immediately when you start in the morning rather than thinking about it for 5 secs or so before moving off. Oily but happy!
