So I'm a moron (still), and the wire from the centre switchback pack sparked and guessing it's blown a fuse somewhere. Any idea where the fuse is location and which one for the centre switchback?

As part of the kit i bought, it came with a CANbus Parking Retention interface. I wonder if there is actually a way to easily splice in to this instead. It should be whats giving signals for ignition (and hopefully splice in to reverse gear sensor)...

Its a 10.1 inch Eonon unit, hopefully should look nice once I put everything back together. Thanks for the info, is the centre switchback the connector going in to the hazard light dash piece? I would have expected there to be a reverse sensor wire in there too as there is button with led on...

SUCCESS! Managed to just pry and pop open a few studs at the back end near the boot opening and unplug the wiring loom i needed from there. Thanks for confirming where i should have been looking. So now ive 95% of where i need to be. I have a new radio with reverse sensors working, steering...

Thanks for the info, just went to go have a look and feel like im missing something obvious... :confused: The seatbelt lower mount isnt attached at all to that panel either. is it 100% behind the panel and any other ways to remove it as its just not budging :/

Is it behind the plastic panel on the right hand side beneath the back/boot window? Or On the bottom behind the metal panel housing a speaker? Just to the right of the spare wheel. And any instructions how to remove either one?

Quick question, Where is the amplifier located in a 2007 Freelander 2 with a stock Alpine unit? Search high and low and cant find it! Thanks

Hello! I came across this product by accident, and not seen anything like it (as from everything ive read, getting any aftermarket radios to work in the Freelander 2 is a pain). So, questions are; Has anybody used it before? Any reasons it would work? Is it worth the £250 price tag...

When you say factory HU. Do you mean the whole thing, or just the radio unit section? EG, if i replace/update the GPS unit, and leave the old radio in to ensure i get the audio for parking sensors, i could live with that.

Thanks for the info, is that the same result if I replace either the GPS or the Radio? (Or just radio) The only one I'm bothered about keeping is the parking sensors ideally
