Hi all, long time since last on not used car a great deal over past YEAR just start up now and again, but last few times I get whistle/screech from behind heater controls it stops after a few turn of key on and off, Anyone got any ideas about this. Regards Sean

As above low battery voltage can bring up HDC inactive I some times get it with brand new battery fitted,:confused: check battery voltage with multi meter, air suspension tends to come up when battery re connected and needs to reset steering angle sensor

Can't check anything now till weekend but it's been fine today to and back from work ;) 32 mile trip

No I can drive normal, kick down, drive at speed 60/70 no problem, first time it cut out just pulling up at traffic lights,following day 2nd time doing 30 mph, then 40 miles down the doing 60 so 3 times in all it's cut out

Readings are with or without codes the only codes getting now are,DTC 9f6 fuel pressure monitoring whilst starting DTC 1260 fuel low pressure control, glow plug circuit, every time I clear codes and restart back them come, Ant regarding required rail pressure this might but not always every 30...

Only got hawkeye so can't get a lot of live data plus only got it 4 weeks ago so not sure how fully works

Ant, Is there a way of testing fuel rail pressure sensor, as this was replaced earlier this year, along with outside tank pump and a injector, could it have developed a fault?? might just be me thinking out loud tho as ran great till the other week when it broke down and was told HP pump which...

Just done basic leak off test removed leak off pipes,ignition on position 2 pumps kick in waited for pumps to shut down no leak off at all, replaced everything to car for test drive no acceleration problems, no kick down issues like a rocket, :confused: but next time out it may just cut out again

Hi Ant, Can't get leak off test done till next week, I have no trouble starting or with acceleration it's just these 3 times since rebuilt HP pump fitted just cut out, 1st time no dash warning, 2nd and 3rd time cut out then ping ping fuel injection system Thanks Sean

so what your saying it's a case of digging in pocket again for in-tank pump?? :confused:

HP pump just been rebuilt only put back on 3 days before Christmas that was all checked and passed i'll check with live data again for pressures which i'm sure was ok

what's best way of checking that? was going to replace rail sensor, outside pump again, to see what's what Thanks Sean

Hi, Datatek Had the pump outside tank done and fuel rail pressure sensor (sensor Land Rover Part) done early this year when I broke down with same thing fuel injection system fault, was wondering if faulty sensor ?? as car always starts when I clear faults
