Hi all my 2 1/4 diesel has started to cut out when going up hills, it starts again with a bit turning of the engine. Then play's up again on any incline. could this be as simple as the fuel filter? i did open the water drain plug on the bottom of the filter housing, there seamed to be a delay...

Hi mine is an early series 2a/3 1971, and i asked the question cause i was looking at the haynes manual and they stated that not all early series 3 where fitted with a servo, so didn't know if mine was meant to have one.

thanks Fenby 1976 i should have added to the original post, it is a series 2 chassis, with a series 3 safari body, and converted to diesel, the servo does not have anywhere to get the vacuum from (so i think it has never worked) so this is why i asked the question. but thanks again fenby for...

Hi all this maybe a stupid question, but my series 3 failed it's MOT on a couple of things one being the brake servo not working, can i just remove it and do away with it, and will it then pass the MOT? cheers

Hi all is there anyone in or around the Edinburgh area that could do some welding on my landy (without charging the earth)? I think it need's some patches on the chassis and the passengers footwell, for MOT. cheers

Hi all couple of questions re fitting o/d. firstly i have the o/d on the bench should i be able to rotate the protruding gear by hand? and secondly can i use the bolts that hold the transfer box cover on, to hold the o/d on? cheers stuart

Hi i think i read in an old thread here that free wheeling hubs help the turning circle (series 111 lwb), is that correct. and could anyone tell me the turning circle i should be getting with and/or without FWH's. cheers

Hi hope this is not a stupid question!!!!! what does the bolt/screw that screws into the side of the gearbox where the gear stick enters (seen from inside the cab) do? (it does look like it's for locating the gear stick) the one on my is as loose as, and falls out. cheers

Hi all Quick question, I was depressing the clutch pedal, while engine off. There was enough resistance to make me think the clutch was operating ok, it had been a bit clunky getting into first and second gear (series 111 LWB) when all of a sudden no resistance at all, I can’t see any fluid...
