Unbolt it, pull it orf! You'll need the backplate that goes ont yer box though & the bearing that slides orf the shaft
Yer could swop it fer the Yub geezer's when he removes his, if yer trust him.
Need a new gasket too.

takes about 30 mins to fit one, its dead easy.
Remove metal plate under middle seat
Unbolt rear cover plate from gearbox, remove locking nut, locktab washer and drive cog. Place all of these in abox ready to send to me.
Put overdrive cog on, overdrive locktab (slightly different) and locking nut. Fit new gasket then slide overdrive on. Knock it on gently with a mallet if it is stubborn, but if its very stubborn you are doing something wrong. You need to do two of the nuts from under the vehicle, but can do the rest from inside.
Remove centre tunnel and fit the linkage which is very obvious.
The slightly difficult bit is if there has never been an overdrive there before as you will need to either get hold of a tunnel with a precut hole or cut one yourself.
Removal is the reverse of the above.....
And I will have one for sale in a weeks time if it helps

Blip the starter while levering it gently & it'll slide the last half inch or so.
