Unfortunately the bolt to hold the window is not there, the clamp section on the window is though and I have found a bolt that will screw in, although it is a little long so I might have to shorten it before fitting.

Sometimes a noisy low pressure pump is due to it being a replacement non OEM version. Mine is the same, works ok but the sound gets a little annoying after a while! Trying to find an OEM version to replace it but they're not cheap!

Only 53K on the clock but still has all the usual Freelander faults :D

Have you taken a close look at the Intercooler pipes to see if there is any wear? I have a similar issue but it only seems to kick in after being out on a longish drive. After changing back down to 2nd or 1st at junctions, I get a lag when I put my foot down, it's pretty annoying and it's not...
