    I'm an equine physiotherapist and cannot afford to be without a car :-( I'm looking at a car today and my husband has said we will get it to a garage and see exactly the costings but unless it comes in around £500 it's not worth it as it would sell for around £850 with mileage etc

    Oh also the coolant is rapidly bubbling, no over heating or water loss but rapid bubbling! And electrics started badly playing up yesterday, locking the doors and windows coming down and up on there own lol when I wrote the post these are all things I forgot :-/

    I'm not sure how it's all happened but it's been over time, it's not just one belt it's all of them, when my husbands truck needed a new engine fitted it was £1500! And it's not something we could fit on our own :-( it's definitely got more problems then £400 unfortunately, the first thing...

    After it being looked at yesterday, all belts have actually snapped and the metal on metal is a piston :-( with its age and mileage the freelander is off to scrap heap heaven! Doubt much of the engine can be sold for spares?
