    Series 3 Ignition switch removal

As you say - they are M8 but I must say I am a bit surprised because my 1975 has imperial nuts and bolts.

Series 3 Steering Box Drop Arm will not come off splines.

Removed mine this morning. Used the recommended tool and left it under quite high tension all last night. This morning it came off with a little help from an 18 inch bar on the socket.k

    Series 3 Ignition switch removal

Cheers me dears - I've had lovely afternoon with a small point chisel to tap them out (very slowly it seems) but they are out with treads intact. So, no more shear bolt's going back in. Just regular bolt's - whatever size these are, so I can get them out again if needs be.

    Series 3 Ignition switch removal

Series 3 How much bleeding do brakes need?

Many thanks, I wonder if I damaged the seals in the MS when the pushrod was incorrectly set. Gonna try one more bleed tonite, then it's probably another MS.

Series 3 How much bleeding do brakes need?

Hi all, New to Land Rovers - especially Series. I recently changed all of the following: Master Cylinder; All 4 wheel cylinders; Hard pipes; Hoses; Unions. Messed up yesterday by having the master cylinder pushrod incorrectly set - this is now sorted as per Haynes manual. However, I have...
