    also some puddle welds help to connect the plate not just around the outside edges but also in the centre to increase its strength and durability. l still need to weld on 6mm tops and bottoms to create that "C" shape.

    we have a pulse ! turns out we forgot to reconnect the key fob receiver. plugged that back in and she ran and by some miracle the bcu, ecu, and the wiring survived. thanks all for the help we got there in the end
