Thanks Alibro - i do love a Ropey Landrover. The handle / and lock appears to be working...but i love a good bit of mechanicing in the rain so no big deal if it needs to be replaced. It was a cheap motor, 02 plate, 75,000 miles TD4, one lady owner - so as a work wagon it's ideal.

Hi All, Can anyone tell me, or better still upload a photo of the location of the bonnet switch on the Freelander 1? I'm trying to locate the cause the horn beeping once when the car is locked (indicating a mislock). I suspect the bonnet switch is a great place to start - but, i can't find it...
