Thank you very much for advice I'll try your suggestions, if it doesn't work i'll will get it scanned. It is just getting to point of is it worth the hassle of fixing all these age related issues.

The indicator issue was the brand new Lucas hazard switch was faulty. Apparently a common faulty with Lucas hazard switches
