Thank you for your reply. I realised after I had tried to use the Nanocom that I probably didn't need to but it was a good learning exercise. Interestingly I could adjust the heights after connecting the Nanocom while the ignition was off. I did subsequently turn the ignition on and off again...

Thank you for your reply. I will try SLABS-Utility in the morning and hope that I can find the deflate/inflate buttons. The only air suspension screen that I have seen on the Nanocom previously is one that gives a height figure for each side of the suspension and two boxes for target heights.

I have changed the ride height sensors on my (2003) Discovery 2 (disconnected battery first). I think that I have made a mistake by plugging in the Nanocom and trying to adjust ride height first instead of just starting up the car and seeing what happens. The rear suspension now goes too high...

Thank you Brian47 and Jamesmartin for all your help. I have just had another go and this time when I turned on the key the suspension warning light stayed on and the pump ran. HURRAY!!! Looks like you were right that it takes time to settle down when disturbed. Thanks again.

Sorry James. Forgot to mention that I have tried the height button.

Not jacked up, it is sitting on bump stops. Have checked fuse 28 which the handbook says is air suspension but the fuse cover says is ABS! Have checked several other fuses.

Hi No I didn’t disconnect battery before removing plugs. Mistake? However, problem present before I disconnected plugs.

Hi Thanks for reply. Yes just double checked all doors shut, engine running, no pump.

After wax oiling chassis air suspension will not inflate (pump not running). The air bags were fully extended at one point when I jacked under the tow bar. Sensor linkages are OK & I have cleaned the electric plugs. Any ideas please?

Have the oil for the Tbox and diffs but have not sourced the main box oil yet, Texaco MTF 94? Dont think it has diff lock. There is a plate by the lever but no sign of any sideways movement. I am afraid I don't know what HDC is? Probably not Greenlaning, nothing serious anyway. More defender...

Thanks, will do. I am in the Abingdon area. I see you are in Oxfordshireness, anywhere near? So far I have changed engine oil and filters, fuel filter obviously, brake fluid and waxed oiled the inside of the chassis. Still plenty to do!

Thanks, I'll make a note of the diagnostics and find a RAVE workshop manual. If the EKA code is the one were you turn the key this way and that to clear the immobiliser I do have it. Just going through it at the monent but looking foward to driving it soon.

I have just bought a 53 plate Discovery 2. Changed the fuel filter as per the Haynes manual which advised that it would not need bleeding. Turned on ignition and waited until pump had stopped then started engine which ran for about 15 seconds before dying. Any clues please?
