Oh I also forgot to mention that when I was working on it and had the blower disconnected from the circuit to test it, that a/c came on for 20 seconds as i heard the fan on the a/c radiator turn on and the light on the a/c button came on aswell. I’m not sure if I moved a wire or something as...

Thanks discool. I knew about the resistor but as you said it normally gives full speed so I had ruled that out as a cause. Probably a rookie error haha. Do you know how to test the resistor?
