    Hi further to my post "series jammed in gear" I followed the advice and drained my gearbox oil, I think that they are detent springs from the selector mechanism?.Anybody know where the square nut came from? Is it an easy job to replace them? Will the box need to come out? Will anymore damage...

    Thanks, it is the one in my avatar, it apparently has a 2a box in it with no synchro on 1st and 2nd? If that's right? And a it has a 200tdi.

    Hi the rear UJ shattered, can I just put it in 4wd and remove the rear prop and drive around in FWD for a few days until my new prop arrives? Will it break owt? Cheers Myles

    Rust.... Mine looked fine apart from 2x 10p sized holes on the rear and 2x same size on the front look at the pictures of the size of metal that I had to cut out then fish plate after I tapped it with a hammer....
