some on ebay dsl or dls says for lightweight . they dont have to be parabolic .wont make a difference where this one goes . the spring is probably shot. But i did wonder if the springs were handed to compensate for portly pilots & fuel & possibly put back other way before i had it !
i supose the new calipers must stick out futher ! i didunt realise the wolf rims were a different profile ,i will look out for some as i am reluctant to loose the real landy look by using modular wheels . many thans for the reply ! reg mick
help anyone know , looking at putting zeus type disc kit on my 3 lightweight . The advice is to not use ordinary land rover rims to ensure space for the callipers .the rims on now are off my defender 90 which has discs . so will they fit ? The reason for the search is that the drums dont like...
got it today looks to be well made & comes with spring clips for the push rod & thrust bearing cw spigot . thanks to simon at lof who kindly answered the phone & made sure i got the right parts .
1/2 ton lightweight with 2.5 di transit conversion . the thrust mechanism has melted & scored the turret on the gearbox housing whitch it sits . its a borg & beck clutch this rover had a v8 at one point .the gearbox cover housing has seven bolts to fix & a ball for the fork . the fork is good...
ide say the horn but it doesunt , not at least always or obviously ! ill look into the interior light because i cut it out a few years ago to rag top & probably didunt deal with it ! thaks for the help its mutch appreciated blue dog . reg mick
sorry got a bit lost for a week or three ! no its not consistent or instant fuel gauge goes often indicators occasionally possibly the livestock trailer for those but the fuel gauge i wondered if it was with something common ie panel light ! thanks mick
theres no side movement , there is spring washers on ,& i put lock tight after cleaning the threads wiht brake spray & airline . think new bolts & washers sound like a plan . will keep posted thanks chaps treg mick
