borg & beck

1/2 ton lightweight with 2.5 di transit conversion . the thrust mechanism has melted & scored the turret on the gearbox housing whitch it sits . its a borg & beck clutch this rover had a v8 at one point .the gearbox cover housing has seven bolts to fix & a ball for the fork . the fork is good cast one . whats the fix on this one ie sleeve the turret change the housing , or is there a better way of converting to stop this happening ?

today i ordered a new front gearbox cover from craddock's & a new clutch from lof engineering ,something to keep busy with .

Borg and beck have not had a good reputation since taken over in the 2000's. LOF recond to be good stuff.

got it today looks to be well made & comes with spring clips for the push rod & thrust bearing cw spigot . thanks to simon at lof who kindly answered the phone & made sure i got the right parts .
