Just rang where I bought it from....they hadn't re calibrated it. So will be doing that shortly

To calibrate it do I just disconnect battery and then reconnect it... And does that effect the radio.... I'm kinda new to most mechanical work but looking forward to fixing a few bits.... Lol. Yesterday managed to fix my trailer lights.

Hi. Although the place where I bought the freelander says they will fix the following issue...it would be helpful if they knew the cause as they are certainly not experts. The issue is this The window will go up and down perfectly but when trying to open the door the glass does not drop down...

I'd like to thank you all for your advice, concerns,warnings and encouragements. I have now indeed bought the freelander after it having had the work done on it. Still one or two teething problems. I have fitted 4 new tyres and think that perhaps you'd like me to start a new thread? John

I'm just imagining different possibilities and I think that what I'd like is something that will grip the road well if I ever come around a corner and have to do an emergency stop with a loaded trailer. Hopefully the tyres will match the really good brakes that are on it. Secondary by a distance...

So yesterday the mechanic did a pre mot. New brake pipes needed front and back. A track rod end new brake pads needed. Tyre and tow bar plate. He drove it and believes the 4 wd is fine as can't hear anything wrong. I've asked the dealer to get that garage to do the work and the mot and he has...
