It clears the fault but when you start it up it re generates the fault gearbox selector

No indicators on both vdo or gear selector with the hawk eye plugged in it showing the gears selected with invalid readings

I did forget about the resistance on cable so what I need is to you use a power supply with the same resistance cable

Yes correct I measured with a multimeter and it was not present voltage 0

Sorry I meant bcu and I tested for a power supply but there is no supply present with ignition on that's why I did it

The power supply to the bcc and the switch as know 12 v supply so if I'm barking up the wrong tree advise me I'm just trying to make this as cheap as possibly before I get an auto electrician in to do it but if I can do it without I will try I'm out of pocket 600 pound can't spend much more on it

All position of gears are correct just the values are showing invalid

Yep switch is brand new I've got an auto electricians number as I hate car electrics and don't no have much clue give me any mechanics lol so might give him a ring unless it's a gearbox issue with hats causing all this grief
