hi thanks for that,will try cleaning the ERG and see if that helps,have already done the decompression filter,its like having a crash course in mechanics owning a TD4,hope its not like this all the time!!!!

thanks for the adivce the oil is leaking out, changed the rocket filter is that the same thing can you tell a thicket what the EGR is and i can see i can take a look. thanks

53 plate TD4, just bought it a few weeks back have just checked the oil and there is too much in it could this cause the oil in the intercooler???

Seem to have oil coming from my intercooler pipes does anyone know is this normal or major fault just change rocket filter/intercooler pipes. cheers.
