Think the haldex is knackered alright. Took it down the field yesterday and got rightly stuck - not a budge out of the rear wheels! Turning DSC off unfortunately didn't help either.

Pads and discs are perfect with loads left in them

No i'll have to get some thanks for tip. Is it straight forward to do?

Front discs were only changed about six months ago. I'll whip wheels off and check condition of disc and pads.

I recently drove the wife's Freelander 2 and noticed that there was a bad vibration / wobble when braking from around 50mph. I checked brakes and noticed that there rear disks / pads were badly worn. I replaced both today but after test drive the vibration is still there. I did notice that...

'Freelander' is thankfully back on the road. Wiring needed repairing, software updates on BCM, ECM, IPC and SRS module (which wasn't working). All sorted so thanks for your help and advice. Geoff

Thanks for response. I was just up at jeep and I stuck in a full charged battery = no more crash errror. Jeep is turning over but still failing to start. New error now on dash is 'nor' - anyone know what that stands for?
