All I can really say is good luck. I hope you find the issue, and please post what you find.

    Wiper Issues - TD5 Defender 2000 110

Mine are still the same. No park, no intermittend wipe. I've just learned to live with it (and several other things that stopped working a few years ago).

    Wiper Issues - TD5 Defender 2000 110

Starting to think that automatically parking wipers is overrated and a bit too show off-y, and that nobody really needs intermittent wipe anyway - I live in Wales for gawd's sake!!! ....and yes, it was a new motor with a new park switch :-(

    Wiper Issues - TD5 Defender 2000 110

Yep, and nothing happens when intermittent wipe selected (which reminds me, I haven't checked if the washer works, will do that this afternoon and report back).

    Wiper Issues - TD5 Defender 2000 110

Fitted a new stall, it's not the stalk. So, new motor, new relay, new stalk but still no park, no intermittent wipe Any other thoughts?

    Wiper Issues - TD5 Defender 2000 110

Hi, There are a couple of types listed, anyone know if this is the one for a 2000 TD5 110 County? https://bearmach.com/product/key-barrel-sets-bodfdfbs/wiper-washer-switch-amr6106r

    Wiper Issues - TD5 Defender 2000 110

Would that affect the park function?

    Wiper Issues - TD5 Defender 2000 110

OK, I've replaced the motor and inserted a new relay. The wipers still don't park and the intermittent wipe still doesn't work. The fuse no longer blows so 1 out of 3 so far. Any ideas?

Cheers both. The spindles seem waggley. Do the bearmach motors bode well? I assume this comes with a new park switch...

    Wiper Issues - TD5 Defender 2000 110

I've been reading a load of threads about wiper issues because mine finally failed this week. I've been ignoring some intermitted problems for a while but it finally spurred me into action after the fuse blew twice. So, today I stripped out the dash top, inspected what I had and removed the...

    Coolant leak :-(

The anti-freeze was red in the bowl that I caught the drips in (I had a garage change the water pump last year). But that doesn't mean it has always had the right concentration of Anti-freeze in it so it may have experienced some corrosion.

    Coolant leak :-(

There is a clear drip coming from behind the engine mount. https://photos.app.goo.gl/LdtJSkUZMKFBTu5BA I can't see anything higher up so could it be one of the core plugs corroded?

    Coolant leak :-(

Yes, will do. I've wiped everything down with a rag so hopefully the source will show itself. Thanks for responding so quickly scooby, you are awesome.

Hi Scooby22. Just checked and fuel cooler seems dry. Thanks.

    Coolant leak :-(

Hello good people, This morning I noticed a heavy coolant leak when I parked up. I topped up 2 litres in the expansion tank, drove home and took a look underneath. The alternator side of the engine was very wet so I couldn't see the source of the leak the turbo side seems dry. I've recently...

Td5 temp barely gets above Blue zone

There was a period of a couple of months between thermostat replacement and then both rad and pump replaced together. Heating was normal after thermostat but I suppose that doesn't rule out duff thermostat. Stuck open?

Td5 temp barely gets above Blue zone

Thanks for the quick reply. What is the best way to check for air?

Td5 temp barely gets above Blue zone

I recently had my thermostat, radiator and water pump replaced. Since then, engine temp sits just above Blue zone and heater gets luke warm at best. Any ideas where to start on this one? Cheers

    Rebuild 110 as a 90 Softtop?

I think I have spotted the problem here....it was CAT B written off not C - I have got myself confused with the letters. Hence why I was pretty sure it had to have a new chassis and Q plate.. Sorry, back to original question about parts needed.

    Rebuild 110 as a 90 Softtop?

Thanks. Yes it did seem odd that they are insisting on a COD for a CAT C. I will try and check what it has actually been registered as. The truck passed it's MOT a week before the vandals got hold of it, so it would just need a new interior and maybe a deep clean. There doesn't seem to be much...
