I was driving along and my disco TDI just cut out .I googled it and it said run a wire from the fuel pump solenoid to the battery.I did this and have just managed to drive it to a friend's house.My question is what will be causing the problem or is there various reasons ?

Well I got the the floor in and welded all the holes on the inside.I went underneath to weld the few bits I spotted whilst welding the new floor in.Quick bleed of the back brakes and its back on the road.It seems to rot quicker than I can weld it.

44 with no no claims as there on my car, third party fire and theft for £220.Seems like a bargain to me.

Put it on ebay then and see what happens.

These rubbers I'm looking for.

I am getting on nicely but I have lost a couple of the rubbers that hold the floor supports to the chassis.Does anyone have a couple I could buy ?

I have just bought a d1 commercial and I'm happy keeping as it is.In five years time they will be a rare site on the roads and they can be bought for little money at the minute.

I have just bought the three sections that make up the boot floor.Can anyone offer me any tips or handy hints on the job.I can weld and use an angle grinder ok but its not something I have done before.

It did work for a living not anymore that was the previous owner.The reason I bought this is because I had one I did work for a living but it needed to much work and I was skint so I had to sell it.Always regretted it and said if I ever saw another I would buy it.I now have a little time and...
