Don't know what you mean. I'm LEZ exempt last time I checked, probably because the joy (see also : impotent outrage) they bring to the beholder offsets any "dirtiness", real (mud) or perceived (it's actually a fairly efficient 2.5l diesel, nothing for anyone to get "all choked up" about).

You shouldn't be exempt at all I am afraid.

We have worked with Land Rover to establish which vehicles with the body type of 'Light 4x4 Utility Vehicle' are subject to the LEZ. Vehicles manufactured before 1973 are considered to be 'historic' vehicles and are exempt from the LEZ.
The vehicles listed below are subject to the LEZ standards:

• All Defenders; 88s, 90s, 109s, 110s, 127 and 130s (except station wagon variants see below)
• All Defenders manufactured with 10 or more seats including the driver's seat
• Freelander Commercial
• Discovery or Discovery Series 2 Commercial
• Conversions (eg ambulance, motor home)

although a plate check does show you as exempt, so I must assume it's not a commercial according to DVLA for some reason

I am getting on nicely but I have lost a couple of the rubbers that hold the floor supports to the chassis.Does anyone have a couple I could buy ?

These rubbers I'm looking for.

Well I got the the floor in and welded all the holes on the inside.I went underneath to weld the few bits I spotted whilst welding the new floor in.Quick bleed of the back brakes and its back on the road.It seems to rot quicker than I can weld it.

Interesting about the LEZ. I dont think Ive ever taken it into the LEZ.
But just checked my D2 Commercial on the TFL site and it came back "Exempt"!
