    Disco 2 TD5

Nice work K9GDO, I'll be keeping an eye on your thread since I'm having problems with a wet passenger footwell! Just had my windscreen refitted and sealed properly but hadn't noticed the floor beforehand, so not sure if it's from when the window leaked or something else. Cheers Coops

    Lifting a D2 'properly'

A long time since this thread started but thought I'd post a pic of the disco on 245/70R16 BFG ATs. Just a little trek up the field at home lol, but willing to get it dirty soon. Debating the lifting again though, save it from too much damage. Coops

    Underseal - Waxoyl/Dinitrol.

Hey wonderful folks of Landyzone. I've tried scouring the forums for a thread regarding this but they're all quite old. So I was wondering if anyone knows of a place local to Stoke-on-Trent that does this treatment for my D2? Most local I've found so far is Rugeley, Ultimate something or...

    Disco 2 EGR removal

Haha I get that the blowtorch isn't going to be as hot as the exhaust running temp, but getting the disco to that temp and then trying to work on it would be a little tricky. Suppose the blowtorch would be able to heat the part and surrounding area a bit more accurately. As for shock treatment...

    Disco 2 EGR removal

Cheers guys, I brought some of them Irwin bolt grips from homepage however, they only have a starter set of 5. Of course these just aren't the right size so waiting for the other 5 of the set to arrive. Thinking about buying a blowtorch too on the recommendation of getting it hot Cheers Coops

    Disco 2 EGR removal

Well..... Was going to blank off the EGR, however, previous owners must have tried and rounded the hex head on the lower bolt. Anyone got any ideas? I've tried torx bits but can't get enough of a swing on a hammer to create a tight fit :/

    Lifting a D2 'properly'

Ah thank you Reggieroo, I know my thread has probably been asked hundreds of times but I'm new to all this. All I can tell you is I f**king love driving my disco. I don't know why it's taken me until now to get one! Back on topic now, I think I'm going to go for Cooper AT3s 245/75/16. I'm sure...

Sweet, thanks Mrlfan. Been looking at Coopers and they aren't a bad price really. Might press the button, but thinking I might have to ask the "boss" first

    Lifting a D2 'properly'

MJI, thanks for your response too, didnt see it there before I responded earlier. 300BHP/ton, now your D1 looked sweet. Purposeful and still like a monster! See, I'm all up for cutting my baby up (eventually, maybe, if I'm tied up and someone does it for me). 2" lift is the first thing folks I...

    Lifting a D2 'properly'

Hi 300bhp/ton, Really appreciate the time and effort you took to reply to my post, thank you very muchly! I'm not going to be an offroad king but nor do I want to be the stereotypical disco kid that lifts it as high as it'll go! I do want a machine that is more capable and has a more purposeful...

    Lifting a D2 'properly'

Hi guys/gals! I've read a few posts about some Disco projects and a few folks have commented saying 'don't lift unless you're going to do it properly'. So what's the proper way to do it? I will eventually be using my disco to do some green laning, but will be keeping away from any tough...
