    ALARM & INTERIOR LIGHTS PROBLEM

Thanks again. No success with checking the ECU alarm connections they all seemed solid. So today I thought I would just for peace of mind check the rear interior light connections which seemed ok. Then holding the rear door switch in, I alarmed the car which was as normal. Then as I was laying...

    ALARM & INTERIOR LIGHTS PROBLEM

Thanks for taking the time to post all the diagrams. So, update: Checked C1211 all ok, checked C1210 attached and “earthing”, also checked C0355 and had battery voltage on both terminals but the thicker of the 2 (the one nearest to the bulb) lost voltage 10-15 seconds after closing the door, so...

    ALARM & INTERIOR LIGHTS PROBLEM

Thanks for reply and the diagram. I found the connector, split it and checked the voltage on the pin 1 and got battery voltage then reassembled it and with a pin checked the voltage on the other side and got battery voltage also. But the lights still do not work unfortunately.

Age 70 driving licence renewal and 12 seater.

I passed my test and bought my 110 `12 seater station wagon before the restrictions came in. Now I am having to renew my licence and there seems to be many confusing issues on the Government website and on various sites, even on here where I have looked at some previous posts on the subject. I...

    Slight petrol smell

UPDATE: Well, it turned out to be something cappers suggested. With the help of our friendly garage team we found the fuel pump gasket was perishing.....

    Slight petrol smell

Thanks, neilp1. The pipes were replaced in 2020 so should still be okay and it is still having E5 petrol until they ban it! Should I pressure test the tank to see if that throws up any answers?

    Slight petrol smell

Thanks, cappers. Carb. The tank is under the back (110). Not noticed any pressure in the system, but should I pressure test the tank? It seems to be running pretty good otherwise, just worrying smelling the petrol.

    Slight petrol smell

Thanks for reply. The filler cap is fairly new as the other one was going rusty. The smell seems to be more the other side though. Due to our varying weather, sometimes I will not notice it if it is windy. I am used to a usual, (well I hope it is usual) slight petrol smell when the weather is...

    Slight petrol smell

I have an old V8 station wagon. The past few months I have noticed a very slight smell of petrol as I walk past it on the drive. The tank seams, drain plug and level sender unit have all been checked. The tank was new in 2020 and the vehicle has not been far since then. Has anyone else...

Is that usual or because of the current situation?

    New chassis

My old V8 LWB station wagon is going to need a new (galvanised) chassis. I know it will cost a lot and I am wondering if anyone can recommend, please, someone in Devon to do it. Also with the current Coronavirus situation are parts (including a chassis) becoming harder to get?
