New chassis

My old V8 LWB station wagon is going to need a new (galvanised) chassis. I know it will cost a lot and I am wondering if anyone can recommend, please, someone in Devon to do it. Also with the current Coronavirus situation are parts (including a chassis) becoming harder to get?

8 week waiting on Richards last I heard.

Is that usual or because of the current situation?

Richards usually have a 6-8 week waiting time although you could go to a dealer who holds a few chassis in stock for immediate delivery.

I ordered mine from Richards in November and asked for a mid-March delivery, I did this to avoid any chance of it being delayed for any reason should I leave it until January to place the order. No problems, was delivered to me on 16th March.
