Hi everyone,purchased this 2002 freelander td4 about 3months ago,really like it although it had a couple of things wrong,most sorted except air-con noise.

ok will have a good look round pulleys and air-con pump see if i can see anything,will have to be tomorrow now.

jf it was the crankshaft pulley you would have noise all the time,this only makes a noise when demist operated.

yes it does have aircon,i did not turn that on though when it made this noise.

hi guys,finally managed it thanks for all your help,used a long reach spanner and got it to undo,fitted a new jubilee clip and altered the position of the head so next time it is going to be much easier i hope.

thanks alot guys,the trouble is i can not get a spanner on as it is tight up to the metal cowling and i can not get spanner to pass it to locate on head.do not know how they put it on,got me baffled.

hi everyone,can anybody give me advice on how to fit new inter-cooler to manifold top hose,i am having a hell of a job trying to unscrew the jubilee clip on inter-cooler,it is hidden behind a shroud you can barely see it never mind unscrew it,any advice would be gratefully received.
