    Thank redwood for your post. Tried as you suggested but there is no creeping in first gear. Oddly enough this morning although still a little difficult to get into reverse it was nothing like as difficult changing between the gears so don't understand what has changed. Bite point is still low down.

    With the engine off it seems a little hard to get into first but quite easy to get into other gears compared to when the engine is running. Bite point feels as though about 1-2" from the floor. Very hard to get it into reverse and takes about 3-4 attempts with some gear grinding.

    Hello everybody.. I'm a newbie here so just finding my way around. We live 8 miles from Chester and have a holiday cottage business We've owned a 2004 TD4 since it was 6 months old with 152k on the clock which has been incredibly reliable and nearly didn't get bought as the first petrol one...
