A couple of the wheel centre cap's from my D1's wheels have gone missing. I'd also like to get a set of centre caps for my winter tyres' wheels. Replacements from LR are very expensive. Any suggestions for a cheap centre cap? It doesn't matter to me if they say 'Land Rover' on them.

It is a D1 No, there is no DIM/DIP. Will check out the relay a wiring, and definitely check out the engine to chassis grounding, good point.

Just recently I've noticed that the headlights are extremely dim and that the high beam light on the dash is on all the time that the headlights are turned on, even when I try to dip the headlights with the indicator stock. I'm thinking that the dim head lights is due to a bad/poor ground...

Turns out it is the motors that are caput. The LH motor has failed completely (fortunately with the window in the up position) and the RH is on its last legs.

As my titles says, the front windows in my 96 D1 have stopped working. I found a thread on this forum about fixing the rear windows but it refers to a ECU repair thread on Landyworld that no longer exists (my D1's rear window work fine). Could the front window problem be a similar ECU issue...

No luck. I cleaned the seats and reinstalled the injectors with new washers (ridge pointing up) and still they leak.

The return hoses and connections are okay. I have not cleaned the seats in the head. Any suggestions for cleaning these other than a cloth and a screwdriver?

A while back I had the injectors rebuilt on my EDC 300 Tdi. I used new injector sealing copper washer (Britparts) but ever since reinstalling the injectors they have all started leaking. I've replaced the copper seals a couple times but eventually there appears diesel where the injector goes...

Thanks for the link; I was at fourby's website yesterday. I was hoping for a manufacturer's bearing part number so that I could source locally (Canada). RC991 doesn't look like a manufacturer's bearing part number.

What is the part number of the bearing? The bearing has started to squeal on my Disco and I would like to be able to source the bearing locally, rather than wait for it to arrive from England.

It appears to be just to window frame. The alignment of the door itself to the rear door and the fender are good. But I suppose a small adjustment at the door hinge would make a big difference at the top of the window frame.

The button on the handbrake handle is stuck in. I took a look at the hand brake mechanism and there nothing obvious wrong with it, the rod doesn't appear bent, well the small portion I can see looks okay. I can push on the pawl and the button pops out like it normally does but when I push on...
