Anyone driving to France, new rules from 1/7/15

My parents live in the south of France and I asked them recently on the breast testers, apparently they are not enforcing the fact you have two as if you actually used one you would for a sort time you would be illegal. Therefore , they are considering changing the regulations to three...

    Range Rover - Porsche dilemma

Until the regs change and diesel is condemned. I love my big twin turbo diesels but at some point they will be impacted by emissions . In fact my wife's car now needs AdBlue additive to keep it running (car goes into limp mode without it) so it starting!!

    Range Rover - Porsche dilemma

Sounds like if you want it with as little hassle as possible buy the 968 and trade the Classic. Longer term I'm not sure which will appreciate in value more, guess The 968s a good car, better than the 944. Mates dad had a 944 turbo cab, in fact I think he still has it in Aberdeen. Anyway if...

Newby..... Trying not to make a mistake.

I did that when I move out of my week day flat in York back home in an Infiniti FX50, to say my skills on Tetris were brought into play is under playing it.. Apart from being cr@p cars (though there is something about the Vettle edition) they are tiny inside.

Plus I don't think the Volvo will cut it with the wife and her 'Soccer mom' crew.

Newby..... Trying not to make a mistake.

I have never been a Volvo fan, apart from an 850R estate I borrowed to flit a mate back home from uni. That was rapid. Don't like the XC90. Sorry, the new one is lovely and I have been checking lease prices. Check again closer to the time, but I would rather have an X5 or Cayenne at the...

Macans are still £45k+ so WAY OVER budget plus we need a full size car. We miss the X5s size, the A6 touring is surprisingly small inside.

So, the wife wants a range rover. I'm currently spending circa £500 on her A6 Avant lease. So I was happy to continue to spend that, so what do you suggest?? A £20k 2009 3.6??

Newby..... Trying not to make a mistake.

Such as?? My X5 was hardly reliable. The Merc is rubbish and I'm not really a Touareg or Cayenne person. I would consider a Q7 but the 3.0 I had an extended test drive before and it's under powered without the 4.2 and not old fashioned. And I don't particularly like the disco. My sister in...

Newby..... Trying not to make a mistake.

I've just done a screen grab on my IPhone so prob my fault. Yeah appreciate they get better over time just concerned I buy one, spend a few grand on a warranty and everything that goes wrong is classified as "wear and tear" and I have to foot the bill. I used to either new cars or used...
